Turn, Turn, Turn

This is my fist Design Team entry for QKR Stampede, this time around..  I was on the team in 2014.  I merged two Eureka images for this card,  ES-digi36001 and ES-digi34503.  They actually merged pretty well.  I just had to tip off some of the tree branches with a marker so the transition would look smooth.  This image is colored with Copic markers and Staedtler Triplus Fineliners.  I added a Signo white dot to the smaller snowflakes and Stickles to the larger ones.

I had purchased a sentiment that I thought would go well with this, but as I was coloring I had the song Turn,Turn, Turn constantly in my head.  It's one of my favorites.  Anyways, I decided to once again go  with song lyrics on a card.  The remainder of the lyrics are inside the front of the card.

Copics:

BG0000, 000, 01, C0, E0000, 31, 33, 35, 41, G20, 24,
R01, 12, 37,  Y11, 13, 15, 17, YG61, 63, 67, YR15,16,18

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

C.R.A.F.T.Challenge - Inspired by a Song
Fab 'n Funky - Just Add Ink
Outlaws Challenge - Festive Fridays

I now have Herman's Hermits on the brain.
I guess Alexa will be playing them for me all week!

  3. Lovely card, Diane! The images are lovely and I really like the idea of having so much of the card take up a long sentiment. I will have to try that sometime.
