You Make Me Smile

This card is my first DT entry for a new challenge blog,  A Place to Start.  The  mid- month's challenge is "Three of Five."

Use 3 of these 5 elements in your project
Tag,
Parchment/Vellum,
Die
Watercolor
 Flowers

I used vellum, dies and flowers.

The image is Goosey Gander from Home Grown Digital by Sugar Nellie.  The image is colored with Copic markers.  I did a lot of work on the vellum and you can't see it because I covered it up, unfortunately.  I embossed a floral design on the vellum with an embossing tool (if that's what it is called) and then punched the edges of the vellum with Martha Stewart punches.  I will try vellum again, but I will make sure it is the main detail on the card.  I used a rectangular die to cut out the image and flowers from my stash were added.

Copics:

BV0000, 01, C00,0,1, E000, 00, 30, 31,40, R00, 01, 11, Y19, YR12, 20, 21, 24

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Dare 2B Artsy - Animals
Dragonfly Dreams - Include an Animal
Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes
Pile It On - Lots of Layers
The Corrosive Challenge - Anything Goes
A Gem of a Challenge - Anything Goes

  3. Diane, your card is gorgeous! I love the composition and your palette is wonderful. I love how you used the green flower in your bouquet to echo the green in her leggings and also the creative use of the vellum for a background layer. Very cohesive and very well organized! So glad to have you on the team!
