Hot Cocoa

I fell in love with this image the first time I saw it.  I bought it on Etsy.  Here is the link:  Cocoa
I colored the image with Copic markers and used a pencil to streak the hair.  The paper is from Siampin' Up.  All my cards are done for this year so this one has to wait an entire year to be sent.

Children of Cameroon

I wanted to color something different this month for Morgan's Art World Challenge Blog.  It is an Anything Goes Challenge.  This image is called Children of Cameroon.  It is available in her shop.  The link is on the right side of my blog.  I did some research to see what the clothing looks like in Cameroon.  The traditional garments consist mostly of black and orange with small amounts of other various colors.

Christmas Greetings

This is my entry for the Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge.  This cute image is offered as a freebie for the challenge by Wink, Wink, Ink.  I think it's simply adorable!  I saw a card a while ago on Pinterest done in red with white dots.  I fell in love with it.  I don't even recall what the image was, but know I had to do that color scheme.  I colored the image with Copic markers and used a white pen for the dots.  The sentiment is from Spellbinders.  (Just realized after  it was posted that I colored in the wrong areas for the scarf.  I hate when I do that kind of thing and don't catch it in time!)

I finally completed my Christmas card challenge at Splitcoast.  This two cards are for the June challenge "Let it Snow."  Both images are from Lily of the Valley and colored with Copic markers.  So happy to be done!

This card is for Morgan's ArtWorld Challenge Blog for the month of November.  I used Angel # 6.  It's available at the Creative Arts Design Studio.  I colored the image with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  The paper is from Hobby Lobby.

Halloween Cards for the Grandsons

Our youngest grandson, Logan, is dressing up as a tiger this Halloween.  I wish we could be there to see him.  I used this cute image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  The paper has been in my stash for years.  I colored the image with Copic markers.

This card is for our eldest grandson, Lucas.  This is another Mo's image colored with Copic markers.

This card is for our middle grandson, Ethan.  Another ":cute" Mo's image colored with Copic markers. The sentiments are from Mo's also.

Santa's Fireplace

These three cards were made for the October Christmas Card Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.  I used the large die of the month set from Spellbinder's Oct 21.  I plan on making about three to five more that Tom will actually do lighting for.  He's looking forward to that after doing the lighthouse cards.  Boy, there were so many little die cut pieces with these cards.  I getting more used to die cutting now.

Cabbage Rose

This is my October  entry for Morgan's Art World Creative Team.  I colored the image with Copic markers and Luminance Pencils.  I used a beautiful paper from Stampin' Up.  The bow is made of satin ribbon from May Arts

Male Birthday Cards

I needed a couple of male birthday cards to mail today so I made them up pretty quickly with pre-colored images.  This first card was made with an image from Fred She Said.  The next card uses an image from Power Poppy.

More Christmas Cards

These cards were made with a stamp from Divinity Designs called Jingle Bell Time.  I colored the images with Prismacolor pencils.  These are my entry in Splitcoast's Christmas Card Challenge for the month of July, bells.  Four more cards to go and I'll have the challenge completed.

This card and the next uses Stampin' Up's paper and stamp set from Christmas Gleaming  I don't recall where the sentiments are from.

The next card  uses the stamp set and paper from Christmas Gleaming.  Finally used another set I bought, but never used!

O Christmas Tree

I fell in love with this image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  It was a freebie this week from Mo's Patreon Group.  I was surprised I was able to color it.  I have been struggling with coloring because of my vision and arthritis.  I am happy how it turned out, though.  Which hasn't happened for a long time.  The paper is from a old Echo Park paper pad.  The holly was actually made for another card I am working on.  It's from a Stampin' Up stamp set called Christmas Gleaming.  She is colored with Copics and Poly Chromos pencils.

All Aboard

These two cards were made for Splitcoasts's Christmas Card Challenge.  They were made from Spellbinder's Christmas card kit for 2021, "All Aboard/"  The sentiment is bu Divinity Designs.  These cards are so incredibly difficult for me.  I'm pushing on, though.  I still plan to use all my unused sets of dies and stamps at least once each.

Santa Lane

These two cards were made with this year's Christmas box set from Spellbinder's called Santa Lane.  I love the images, but these were the two most difficult cards I have ever made.  Between clumsy fingers, losing pieces and a multitude of other problems.these took me a week to complete. I am happy with the finished cards.  I do wish I had put some sort of background on them.

Needing to use my vast collection of card stock scraps led to a two day job.  I have a huge hanging file basket full of twelve years of card stock scraps sorted by color.  It was just about impossible to pull anything out of it or put anything in.  I decided to staple a file width pocket at the inside top of each file folder.  I put the small pieces of card stock in that pocket which freed up a huge amount of space at the bottom of the folders.  I can now easily pull the files in and out.  I plan on trying to use up all the small pieces first.  These cards were made completely out of small scraps of card stock. After all the troubles I had I am going to start their 2021 Christmas set called.  All Aboard.  I will be making to train cards.  I think they will be easier than these were.  I'm a glutton for punishment.

Christmas Copper

This is one of my favorite cards that I have made recently.  Although, I have the most difficult time using my Glimmer System.  I ALWAYS put the foil on backwards.  I don't know why I can't get it right.  I read the directions and watched a video and I still did it backwards three times anyways!  I am going to put a sign up over my desk that says:

"GLIMMER FOIL - SILVER SIDE UP!"

Maybe that will help me get it right.  Anyways I used Spellbinder's dies to make this card and copper card stock from Stampin' Up.
