The Feel Better Bag

This week is "Anything Goes but a Card" at Tammy's Scrapin' Corner.  I used this really cute pre-colored digi from Meljen.  I bought the uncolored digi and colored it, but when I scanned it the color was way off.  Fortunately, it was available pre-colored.  My photography was just awful this week.  I had a really difficult time getting the photo to look right.  The bag is much cuter in person.  I made this for my grandson, Lucas.  He's too young for it right now.  It will be a while before I get to use it.  I plan on filling it with coloring books, crayons, DVDs, story books, a teddy bear and anything else that might be comforting to a sick child.

I would like to enter this bag in the following challenges:

Easter Blessings

I finally got a card done!  As some of you know, my husband had been very ill.  He's getting back to normal now, although, he is still on a feeding tube.  We hope that it is removed soon.  Fortunately, his body is healing so he was able to avoid surgery.  Thanks so much for all the support I received during this ordeal.

This card was designed for Tammy's Scrapin' Corner Challenge #54, Easter.  The beautiful image is from Eureka and is available here.  I just loved this image and couldn't wait to use it.

Funny story, I was babysitting my grandson during the process of making this card.  He was on the family room floor playing during dinner time.  The table that I work at is also in the family room.  I decided to sit and eat at that table so I could keep a better eye on him.  I sat at the opposite corner from where I had been working on this card.  We were having ribs for dinner.  I looked over at my card during dinner and there was a spot of barbecue sauce on it.  Of course, I had already finished coloring it!  I had been sitting several feet away.  I don't know how I managed that one.  Anyways, that is how the pearls ended up on the card.  They were definitely not planned, but barbecue sauce does not come off.  I ended up liking the pearls anyways.

The paper is from Stampin' Up, the pearls are from Zva,  The gorgeous silk ribbon is from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and the flowers are from Micheal's, I believe.  I used a Martha Stewart corner die for the shell corners.  The image is colored with Copics.
