Sunflower-Thinking of You

The sponsor's for this week's challenge at Inspiration Destination are The Cutting Cafe and Robyn's Fetish.  I chose the image Sunflower 2 from Robyn's Fetish.  I wanted to work on something really simple and fresh looking.  The digital paper is a leftover from my stash.  The image was colored with Copics.

Rick St. dennis Bayou Witch

This is me on a not-so-good morning, ha!  Actually I'm a morning person.  I'm dead to the world around 9:00 p.m..  This image is called Bayou Witch .  I bought her a while ago, but just got around to using it.  Trying to be a little creative on spring break.  After this...housework!  I colored her with Copics.  Finally, no accidents here.  My Copics behaved themselves.  The bats were cut with the Silhouette.  The sentiment is also from Silhouette.
The digital paper is from Little Panda Digitals on Etsy.

Rick St dennis is having a DT call for his Facebook page.
This is one of my entries.  Wish me luck!

Interesting Day!

Today was a day I should have stayed in bed and slept instead of card-making.  I love this image, but I had a heck of a time.  The image from Rick St. dennis is titled Carnevale Masque.  Twice my Copics decided to do that bloop thing, so there is a lot more green than I intended.  None of the gems would stay on the mask, even after I glued them on.  I see in my photograph, I lost another and the cats kept stealing my feathers. I give up! In the middle of working on the card I had a blood sugar crash and was coloring with shaking hands. Yes, I should have stopped and eaten, but I was determined to rescue this image and finish it.   I definitely will color this image again.  Hopefully, without all the pitfalls.  I am fond of it, though.  I'm glad I stuck with it.  What a day!

RSD Happy Easter

I made this card for the RSD March Progressive Challenge at Sparkle and Glitter. This is the first time I've done a progressive challenge.   I used the Rick St Dennis image  Whack.a.doo Easter Bunny.  I love the name of that one.  I used Copic markers to color it.  The digital papers are from Samantha Walker.  I finally got to use a bow I tied about two years ago.  At the time I decided not to use it and threw it in my canning jar full of left over ribbon pieces.  It came in handy gor this one.
