With the exception of a little food shopping, I've been crafting all day. I should be doing laundry and cleaning. But, I have my priorities after all! Tomorrow is another day. This image is from Digi Doodle Shop. I tried to make the hummingbird look iridescent. I had gotten a box of Pearl Ex (Stampin' Up) in a lot of crafting supplies I bought from Ebay. I really had no idea how to use it. I applied it with a paintbrush. The photograph does not show the iridescence very well. This card is a "Thinking of You" card for ChemoAngels.

ReplyDeleteJust popping over after being at Gail's blog, your card is wonderful. I do see some of the iridescence, I never knew how they worked either. Those colors are beautiful for the image. Sorry about your snow storm but we are having one in NV too, I sure miss Phoenix!

ReplyDeleteThis is stunning! The pearl-ex shows up quite well on the close up. This is my favorite image from Digi Doodles, I just used it last week and had a great time coloring it. I LOVE the colors you chose to use! This card will most certainl brighten the recipients day.
