Fairy Flower

I have been so swamped for time this past week!  I am testing coordinator for our school and we just got done with our state testing.  It's kept me really busy so I haven't been able to create very much.  Everything should be back to normal now.

This is my DT card for Digi Doodle Shop's Best Challenge #55 Glitter & Glitz.  I just bought the paper pack and really love it.  It's from K & Company.  The punch is from Martha Stewart.  She is colored with copics and has glitter and crystals added to her wings.  I must admit glitter is a tough one for me.  I'm avoiding posting a close-up on this one.  You can't see it when you look at the actual card, but in the close up there is some bleeding from the Copics and I do hate "coloring outside the lines." When I was a child my favorite thing to do was color in my coloring books, but anytime I would accidently color outside the line I would tear the page out of the book so I would not have any mistakes in it.  A little OCD, I think!  I still love coloring, though.  I've accepted the fact that nobody is perfect and that's okay.  The ribbon is from my stash.  I wish I knew where it came from;  I'd definitely buy more.  The technique I used to do the aqua on the background I learned from a tutorial by Dana.  I've been practicing and I really enjoy it.  Here's the link:

Copics:  B00, BG0000, BG000, BG10, BG13,
         E00, E11, E35, R11, R12, R22, R32, R35,
         Y02, Y06, Y17, Y21, Y38, YG03, YG06

I have also entered this card in:

2 Sisters Challenge Blog Challenge #35 Bingo (I used punches, glitter and flowers)
Do It With Digis Challenge #8 Faries, Pixies and Elves
Scrap Creations Use a digital image
Cute Card Thursday Challenge #161 No Text

I think your card is gorgeous. The wings are fabulous, as is the pearls and their placement. I would never have known that you had any mistakes in your coloring. (It's really not your fault, the markers have a mind of their own. lol) Beautiful paper, too. Hugs, dj
