Fairy Candle

This is my first attempt at decorating a candle. I bought the candles about six months ago and am just getting around to trying this technique.  I need to go back and find the tutorial.  I just kind of winged this from memory.  I had a couple problems, but for the most part it came out okay.  I think I will try a Christmas candle soon.  They would make nice gifts for my co-workers.  I'll probably browse around later and look for an applicable challenge.  Right now I have to go chase the cats from eating the flowers I left out!

The image is from A Day for Daisies.  It is colored with Copics.  I believe the sentiment is from TLC.

I am entering this in:

  1. just beautiful! I haven't tried this technique with digis, but used to make tons of them with 'regular' stamping. it was so easy to do. how wonderful that you were also able to color in your image. you did a fab job with this! :)
