Digi Doodle Shop's Challenge this week is "Anything Goes." I chose the image "Country Flowers." I used to grow hollyhocks when I lived in New Jersey. I loved how they looked. Here is Arizona the only thing that grows well is cactus and tumbleweeds. My yard is full of cactus. We have gotten rid of the tumble weeds, thank goodness. I'm allergic to them. Anyway, I tried to photograph this card outdoors on the wood pile. I just ended up chasing the card around as the wind kept blowing it off the wood. That was not a good idea. I did manage to get one usable photo, though. Then, I decided to photo it on my fireplace hearth. My cat, Lucy, kept trying to get in the photo so I took one of her. That helped. She didn't like the flash and went away.
I colored this image with Copic markers and used some Martha Stewart glitter on the flowers. The punch is from Stampin' Up.
Copics: BG0000, BG10, C1, C3, C5, C7, E50, E53, E55, E57, G21, G24, R20, R22, Y17

Diane, I hear you about the tumble weeds. Of course when I was young one of my favorite songs was something about the "tumbling tumble weeds". LOL. Your coloring is beautiful. I've got one in my "colored" pile, but I wouldn't use it now for anything, as it's one of the first images I ever purchased to color. Your cat is adorable. Hugs, dj
ReplyDeleteYou have coloured this image to absolute perfection. So delicate and pretty and wow! I bought this image so long ago and to my shame I still haven't used it. As soon as I saw your gorgeous creation, it made me print off my own image. Hehe. Way to go.xx

Another stunner! I love that label for the sentiment. You put so much love into your cards. Chasing a card is something I have experienced also. I'm always hoping the neighbors aren't watching.
