This my first DT entry for My Time to Craft. The current challenge, #147, is A La Carte (Food). I knew as soon as I saw this challenge what I wanted to do. I had to search far and wide to find this digi, but I finally did. He's from The Paper Shelter. I had never heard of them before, but I'm glad I found them. I'll definitely be visiting again. Their digis are priced very reasonably.I grew up in an Italian family. I can really relate to this. Our big family meals were always pasta. It's my famliy's favorite too. When I make sauce I usually make at least a gallon loaded with meatballs and sausage. When I lived back east I used to be able to get pork braciole to put in it...yum! That's not available here. I should learn to make it myself. I colored this with Copics and added some Colorbox Chalk Ink around the edges of the sign. The fork and spoon are from Taylored Expressions. I mangled the fork a bit getting it on there. I painted them with Twinkling H2Os to give them a little sparkle.

I love him what a brilliant choice of digi, the little cutlery embellishments are inspired, I would definately eat in his restaurant, he looks like he enjoys his own food :o)
