For a Sweet Friend


I made this card for a very sweet friend.  I am truly having a blast learning how to use my pencils.  I can't believe I let them sit there for ten years.  My Copics are going to get lonely.  This is an image from Aurora Wings.  I went on a little digi buying binge recently and she was one of my finds.  I just got a new set of Prismacolor Portrait pencils for Mother's Day.  They came with directions on how to do skin.  I actually started out the skin with a cream and pale yellow.  Who would have thought?  Anyways, back to business.  The paper is from Stampin' Up.  The cardstock and ribbon are actually close in color to her dress.  You wouldn't know that from the picture.
The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

  4. Wowza!!! I love how you colored this! Just beautiful. I never use my pencils except for the occasional extra shading with black! I think your use of your pencils is spot on. Hugs
