Thanksgiving Card for My Dad

This is the first card that I have made in ages.  I really wanted to send my Dad a Thanksgiving card and I hate to send a card that I didn't make.  My family has come to expect handmade cards.  Thankfully, I made all my Christmas cards before I was injured.  I am still working on healing, doing lots of physical therapy.  Altogether, I will be spending eighteen weeks in a back brace, not allowed to bend or twist, or lift anything over five pounds...such fun!

I used Brusho to color the leaves.  It was my first try at using it.  I'm not real happy with them.  I definiely need to practice more.  The stamp and die is from Stampin' Up.

I can't wait for my daughter to get here from Michigan for Christmas!  She knows how to fix my blog!  She warned me not to try to fix it again myself.  I guess I will have to wait patiently.

Love your Thanksgiving Day card and the leaves look perfect to me and so pretty. I haven't tried the Brusho's yet.
