For Two of My Angels

There are for two very special people who are helping me keep a better attitude right now.  I consider them to be "my angels."  I made each of them an angel card. I still need to find a little boy angel for my six year old grandson.  He's at my house often since it is summer break.  He is the most caring child.  He is always right there iif I need something.  I had to laugh.  His family went on a mini vacation last week.  He tells me all the time that he prays for me.  When he got back he said "Grandma, I'm sorry I forgot to pray while we were gone, but I prayed last night."  What a sweetie.

This first card is an image by Crafts and Me.  I have always loved this image and have used it several times.  It is colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is by Lily of the Valley.

This card is also an image by Crafts and Me.  Her wings are glittered, but I could not get it to photograph well.  She is colored with Arteza Pencils.  I thought I would give them a try.  They are not quite as good as Prismacolor, but I was satisfied with how they colored.  I also have their watercolor paint brushes.  Those I have to practice with.  Watercolor is not something that comes easy for me.

  5. Hi Diane! I really like the second image of the angel holding the lantern. The die cut you chose works perfectly with the image and the sparkle you added to her wings is beautiful.

  6. Grandchildren are good medicine for the soul! I don't have any (yet), but I saw the effect on my parents and on my friends who have them. Little angels! Love both your cards, so sweet. I struggle with watercolors. I end up just coloring with a brush instead of all those looser techniques. Don't know where you live in the USA but I sure hope it's not too hot. We are baking in a sauna down here in Texas, haha. xoxox
