Blue & Brown

I made this card for Digi Doodle Shop Challenge #91, Blue & Brown.  This digi image is from Digi Doodle Shop.  It's called "Sail Away" and you can find it here.    It's colored with Copics, of course.  I used a new paper by October Afternoon.  I have always loved their papers.  I got a small piece of it in a paper pack, so of course I had to go on a search to find lots more.  I bought enough to keep me busy for a while.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Divas by Design  New Beginnings and/or Thanks
Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Brown & Blue
Anything Goes Challenge Blog  Anything Goes
Cards for Men Boys and their Toys

Great combo with the DP and a lovely sentiment to match. The clipper ship was my high school mascot in Maryland. Memories.....Linda

Hi, Diane
Almost American Idol time here ! You are lucky you can create while you watch the show. Thanks for commenting on my card and I love this card and your coloring method. I know nothing of digital images - guess that will be something else I will be investigating. To a long friendship of stamping and blogging - stay warm - Hugs

What a great guy card! I love the coloring on the ship. You can almost feel the wood. Guy cards are so hard & this one is perfect! Great card!

Which came first? The image or the DP? They are such a prefect match. Fabulous card as always. You're cards are so professional. Just love them.

Hi Diane, strong backing paper and beautiful Sail Boat is a wonderful match. Smoothing white edges makes this even more like a painting on a wall. Colorine is really beautiful, as always!
