Girl with Hummingbird

This image is by Emmanuelle Colin.  I have five of her coloring books.  I recently did a deep clean and organization of my craft room and found her long lost coloring books.  I really love how unusual her drawings are.  They are printed on very heavy paper that I believe can be used also for watercolor.  I colored this with Luminance and Polychromos pencils.  I did the background in chalks.  Be on the lookout for more of these images now that I know where the books are!

My Husband Didn't Know What This Was!

A friend years ago sent me a couple of these stamped images in the mail.  I just got around to coloring it.  I needed some male birthday cards.  This will go to my husband's best friend from high school.  He lives in Maine and has moose in his yard frequently.

The Grandkids Valentine Cards 2025

These two cute cards use images from AleksArtDigital on Etsy..  I also put whales and scenery on the inside.  The set provides several different whales and scenery pieces.  The papers are from my stash.  I didn't have a lot of time to get my cards done so using digital images help quite a bit.  Thees cards are for Logan (3) and Aidan (23 months). Whales are very popular in their house right now!

The next card is for Ari (9  months).  I think I got this image on Etsy, also, but I'm not sure.  It is called "Cute Fox."  This image I colored with Copic markers and pencils.  The paper is from my stash.  Ari's room is done with a fox and woodland design.

I'm still working on Lucas' (12) and Ethan's (9) cards.  I have a few more days to get them done.  Fortunately, they live in Kingman so I don't have to mail them.

As usual, Grandma's cards always come with some spending money!

Happy Birthday, Karena 2025

I used Spellbinder's dies and Stampin' Up ink for the butterflies on this card.

I am pleased with how it came out.

Morgan's ArtWorld February 2025

I chose this Panda family image for the February challenge.  Boy, did I have a difficult time with this one.  Everything from coloring to the to the photography had me using some not very nice words.  I am still not happy with my coloring, but sometimes you just have to say "that's the best I could do."  The image is available at Morgan's Journal and Scrapbook Art.  I colored the image with Copic markers and Luminance and Polychromos pencils.  I found the digital paper on Etsy.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
