QKR - Monochrome

I completely forgot to post this card.  I seem to do that a lot lately.  I made sure I got it done in time for the website and forgot all about my post.  Anyways, the challenge this week at QKR Stampede is Monochrome.  I used this Couch Potato image, available here.  I love the paper pieced sofa.  The digital paper is from Cartabella.

Cardz 4 Guyz - Stepper Card

Today's challenge at Cardz 4 Guys is to create a Stepper card.  I used  this image from Digi Doodle shop. The digital paper is from CanStock Photo.  The image is colored with Copics.

Fitztown Challenge - Wet or Dry Embossing

This week's challenge at Fitztown is Wet or Dry Embossing.  I used this absolutely gorgeous tiger image by Morgan Fitzsimons.  It is available at MorganFae's World on Etsy.  I colored him with Copic markers.  I used a Stampin' Up embossing folder that I absolutely love for the texture.  I once again tried to keep the card design minimal so the animal would stand out.

QKR - Add a Button

The fun challenge this week at QKR is "Add a Button."  I used this cute bunny, available here.  The digital papers are from the Carina Gardner Evening Blooms collection.  The large flower  button is from my grandmother's button collection.

The doily is from Cheery Lynn Dies.  I have so much trouble with this die.  I cut a doily with wax paper to make sure the die releases so that problem is solved.  I cannot get it to cut the center of the doily all the way through.  I must have put it through twenty times.  I kept changing he position of the metal plate, added a shim of paper, nothing worked.  I got an imprint of the center, but no cut.  

This is the first time I've tried the dot background.  I still need a lot of practice with it!
