This is an adorable image by Lili of the Valley. The sentiment circle is also by them. I wanted this to have an old fashioned feel so I finished the edges with chalks. Unfortunately, I did not have the shade of brown I wanted. The background paper is tan with lighter tan snowflakes on it. It did not photograph well. The image is colored with Copic markers. My next couple of cards will be of sweaters for the Splitcoast Christmas challenge.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Gem of a Craft Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafter's Castle - Anything Goes
Colour Crazy Challenge - Anything Coloring Goes
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Christmas

What a sweet image and so beautifully colored, Diane! The edging adds to the design and the snowflake paper is perfect behind it all! Thanks for sharing with Krafty Chicks!

ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet image Diane, and love your more vintage aged look with the layering on browns and tans. Awesome colouring as always ♥

Another absolutely adorable image! And beautifully colored!
ReplyDeleteI thought that round sentiment looked familiar. Well, this one has turned out gorgeous despite not being perfect as per your vision of it. Hope you are enjoying your first day not having to be an in-house suspension discipline specialist! Have fun with the sweaters. Sounds like fun, a few months back I bought a Gina Marie die set called Ugly Sweater and dangit, I better use it this year! hahaha Who am I kidding? My paper inventory from 2004-5 is finally seeing a little action, it could be a decade before that sweater set gets used, lol. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh I love this! It's so cute and colorful! Thank you so much for entering our challenge at Crafter's Castle this month....good luck :)
