Happy Valentine's Day

The challenge this week for Heart's Quest Challenge Blog is Valentine's Day for spouse, partner or romantic love.  I haven't made a Valentine's card in years.  I used some Spellinder's  dies that were just sitting around unused.  The flocked vellum is by Stampin' Up.

I am entering this card in the following challenge:

Alphabet Challenge - "V" is for Vellum
Cut It  Up - Love, must include die cut

Hay Friend

This card if for the newest challenge over at Farm Quest Challenge Blogspot.  I used an image from the Silhouette Design Store.  The theme this time is Hay, Straw Bales, Hay Mows/Lofts.  Come on over and join us

Finally Finished My Mermaid

I have been working on this mermaid for a while.  She's from Coloring Books 2020 on Etsy.  I enjoy doing some projects that take a while.  I colored her with Copic markers, Luminance pencils and CarbOthello chalk pastel pencils.  I added some Stickles to the air bubbles, although the glitter is not visible in the photo.  This was mt first time coloring black hair,  I photocopied the partially colored image and colored the hair on that first as a trial (suggested by my daughter.)  Thank you, Katie.  After I somewhat  thought I had it down I colored the original.  I could still use some practice on where to place the shading. I am looking forward to coloring my next image.

I may try to down size her to get it on a card.  That may not work because my printer is a piece of junk and tends to print off color.

Christmas Cardinal

Here's my start to the 2023 Splitcoast Christmas Card Challenge.  For these cards I used dies from Honey Bee and paper from Carta Bella.  My photography is not the best.  Between very low light in the early morning and poor eyesight I didn't do such a great job.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Peace On Earth - Anything Goes

613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes

Krafty Chicks - Christmas

Western Wear

These two cards are for a new to me Design Team called Farm Quest Challenge Blog.  They are predominately country or farm themed.  Today's challenge is cowboy or cowgirl, boots, hats or spurs.  You must use at least two.  I found these images on Etsy inTanchaArt.  I colored the images with Copic markers.  I don't recall who the the dark pink paper is from.  The turquoise paper is my favorite paper to use on male cards and it's from Hobby Lobby.  Hope to see you visit us!
