Father's Day

This card was made for Digi Doodle Shop Challenges  #62:  No backing papers/designer papers.  The image is from Digi Doodle Shop.  Of course, with it being a nature scene, I couldn't resist.   I colored it with Copics, and although you can't tell in the picture, I used an iridescent powder from Stampin' Up on the heads so they actually have a very pretty iridescence. I printed a picture off the internet so I could tell what colors they needed to be.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Sparkle Forum Challenges  #13 Father's Day
Bows and Berries  Challenge #7 Masculine
The Crazy Challenge  #70 Father's Day
Lexi's Creations Father's Day

  2. No perils? No flowers? This is a great card. I love the warm colors. I like the way you've let the cattails fall off the off onto the gold. I really like this card.

  11. Fabulous card! I love the ducks and especially the cat tails. I always associate them with a visit to my grandparents when I was young. My cousins and I would use them and sword fight with them, just to see them break up and get all fuzzy. Hugs, dj

P.S. I also like your new look. I had to do the same earlier this spring. It gives such a boost.
