Fourth of July Cards for the Grandkids

These are the cards I made for my grandsons for the Fourth of July this year.

I usually do Silhouette cards for them, but my Silhouette is no longer working.  

So frustrating! These images were purchased on Etsy at PrintDesignSB.  The digital papers are from RelicClusterArtCo also on Etsy.  I absolutely LOVE the papers in this pack!

Christmas Stash (H)

I made these cards for the June Christmas Card Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.

 

 

 

I'm not sure whose image this is.  I browsed through my files, but I have over 10,00 images, sorted by artist or manufacturer, and I was unable to locate this one.  I printed it off, so I know it's in there somewhere. The paper is from Stampin' Up.

Praying

 This image is from QKR Stampede.  I colored it with Copic markers.  The photograph is kind of blurry so  here are the words:

Our prayers may be awkward.

Our attempts may be feeble. 

But, since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it

and not in the one who says it,

House Sparrow, I think!!!

 

This is an image I purchased on Etsy to color.  In the past I have been questioned if this was legal.  I contacted the store owner.  She said it can be reproduced.  I can color it and sell items made using her images.  I just cannot sell or give away the original image.

I believe this is a House Sparrow.  I colored the image with Copic markers, Prismacolor pencils, and pastels. The paper is from Stampin' Up.  The lace i have had for years. The sentiment is a stamp form Lili of the Valley.

Sweet Dreams

 

This image is called "Sweet Dreams."  It is by Mariola Budek.  I love her images and haven't colored one in quite a while.  It is available in her Etsy shop.  I colored the image with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.  I decided to make it "Welcome Baby" card, although it would make a great card for a slightly older adopted baby.   It reminds me of my three kids who were all little blondies.

This card was made with the new Stampin' Up set "Scenic Coast."  I absolutely love the papers for the collection.  It really saves a lot of cardmaking time.
