Just a Note

The challenge at A Place to Start this month is Stenciling.  I used an art deco stencil from Altenew.  It is stenciled with Tim Holtz distressed inks.  The image is from A Day for Daisies and is colored with Copic markers.  I actually had some difficulty finding an art deco digi once I decided that was what I wanted to do.  Funny how you can see something all the time except for when you need it.  I thought A Day for Daisies had a lot more images.  This was the only one I found.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Li'l Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes
The Corrosive Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
Cardz 4 Gals - Foxy
Everybody Art Challenge - Anything Goes
Shopping Our Stash - Stencil Me This

  3. Stunning card and the digi is perfect for the stencil. I have a stamp by hero arts and one by crafters companion that would be perfect with this stencil. You’ve inspired me. Thanks for joining and good luck with your entry!

  4. Hi Diane! Art Deco is one of my favorite design periods and I really like your coloration on this stencil - I'm going to have to put it on my Altenew "wishlist" now!
