Elf King

This is my unusual card of the week.  I found a new website on Etsy and I love her images.  She also did the African Headdress that I colored last week  This image is called Elf King and it is available from DigiStampAtelier on Etsy   There are about ten things I would do differently if I were to color this image again.  I would change the skin tone and the color of the eyebrows ( for the lack of a better word)  I would also change the hair color.  It blends in too well with some of the flowers. It is a learning process after all.    I used more Copic markers on this image than I have ever used on an image before  My desk was so covered when I was done there was barely a spot left to work  I edged the paper with Tattered Rose distressed inks.  Next week I have a girl image that is an underwater scene.  I'm looking forward to coloring that!

Copic Markers: B000, 00, 12, 23, 28, 63, BG10, 11, 13, BV0000, 000, 02,
C00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, E000, 00, 01, 11, 13, 31, 33, 41, 99, G16, 21, 23, 85,
R00, 02, 12, 20, 22, 24, RV21, 23, Y06, 08, 11, 17, 19, YG01, 05, 09,

  2. He's wonderful! I had to smile - I OFTEN finish off an image and immediately think of everything I'd do differently if I were to start over. That's the beauty of the creative process I suppose. Your little Elf King is exactly what you made him to be, and he's wonderful! Fantastic colouring of this very detailed image and wonderful decoration of your finished project. beautiful die cut corners, which match the image so well, and I love the little jewels all over them. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Morgan's Artworld Open Challenge
