You've Got Mail

This is my first attempt at trying watercolor pencils.  It's something I think I'll start practicing with.  The stamp came from a yard sale so I have no idea who the creator is.  I really love it.  This is the first card that I have made that my husband doesn't want me to give away.  As a matter of fact he's getting interested in the hobby.  He's beginning to think about doing some artwork for me to paint.  I have never actually seen any of his artwork, with the exception of the guitars he builds, which are beautiful.  This should be quite interesting.  I got an amazing deal on the Prismacolor Watercolor Pencils.  The girls at work had given me a twenty five dolllar JoAnns gift certificate last year for my birthday.  Then I got at 50% off coupon from JoAnn's.  The pencils were originally 50.99 and between the gift certificate and the coupon I paid  49 cents.  Can't beat that deal!

  1. a beautiful card, I love the image and the colours you used.

  2. Very pretty! I like the out of the ordinary way you use punches. And 49 cents for a set of pencils? I love it when things work out that way.

  3. This is so pretty. I love that your hubby is so interested. What a deal you got on those pencils. I love a good bargain. Great card.
