This week at Inspiration Destination one of our sponsors is Dr. Digi.  I chose this really great pre-coloured digi called Buffo.  I decided to make it a twisted easel card.  The papers are from Stampin' Up.  I cut the wording out of the papers, also.

January Christmas Card Stash

This is my favorite Santa image.  It's by Sherri Baldy.  I colored him with Copics.

This stamp is by PSX.  This image was also colored with Copics.

These cards were cut with the Silhouette.
The digital papers are from Cartabella.

My goal this year is to make one card a week to avoid the Christmas rush.
Also, to make somewhat flatter cards that are easier to mail.

My Favorite Five of 2014

I have been doing this for the past few years.  It's interesting to look back.  I had forgotten about quite a few of the cards.   What a surprise, they're all animals!

Christmas Carousel Horse

I must apologize that I haven't been visiting blogs lately.  I have been in a lot of pain with arthritis since the weather has gotten colder.  I wasn't allowed to take anything for pain for a while because of my kidneys.  They are apparently normal again and the doctor gave the okay to take an anti-inflammatory.  Thanks goodness.

Anyways, this past Christmas I sent quite a few purchased cards which I prefer not to do.  This year I'm going to try to finish one per week so I'll have plenty when I need them.

This image I found on Deviant Art, it's by Heather Luciana.  She gives permission to use her lineart as long as she is given credit.  Here is a link to the image:  http://www.deviantart.com/art/Carousel-Lineart-124395897

Lucas' Halloween Costume

I made Lucas a Brobee (from Yo Gabba Gabba) costume for Halloween.  He didn't like the sleeves in the first pic so we rolled them up.  Gotta keep a two year old happy!  Katie had seen the costume on Pinterest.  Someone had made it from a hoodie and pants pattern.  The pattern was discontinued, but I was able to find it on Ebay.  So glad I did.  I just winged the face and horns.

Snowflakes

This image is from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I colored her with Copic markers.  The snowflakes were cut with the Silhouette and covered with Stickles.  The digital papers are from Echo Park.

Angel and Baby

I'm trying to get started on mu Christmas cards, so that may be all you see for a while.  This image is from Mo's Digital Pencil. I think I bought it last year, but never used it.   I colored it with Copics.  I cleaned my desk off before I listed them.  Oh, well!  I used a die set from Spellbinders.  Someday, I will go and find out what each set is.  I didn't save any paperwork for them.  I realized after I photographed the card that I forgot to color the lips.  They are colored now, but I don't feel like photographing again.  I spend so much time focusing on the skin that I forget the lips quite often.  I actually finished the last two cards inside and out.
I'm on a roll!

TeddyBo Tree

I am having major trouble with formatting this post.  Blogger must not be behaving today!  Anyways, I used a TeddyBo image for this card.  I purchased a couple a few years back and haven't gotten a chance to use them yet.  The digital papers are from Echo Park.
I colored this with Copic markers.  I did the distressing with Distresses Inks.

Finished off my basket of unfinshed cards!

I finally finished all my unfinished cards!  I had forty-seven cards that I had made for design teams that I had not finished the inside of.  Some had been in my stash of unfinished cards for three years.  I finally got them done, greetings and all.  Now I might actually be able to make one for fun.  That is, after Lucas' Halloween costume and another beanbag chair.  I best get busy!

Irish Eyes

I am starting a series of tousled hair boys.  This is the first, "Irish Eyes."  I grew up believing I was half Italian.  When...
