This is the next in my bird series, a Scarlet Macaw. I am not really pleased with this one, but decided not to redo it. I'm fine with the bird itself, but I don't like my choice for the flower color and paper. I feel I should have used a brighter color for the flowers to have more of the intensity of the color of the bird. Oh, well! I colored the image with Copic markers and pastels.
Love the beautiful scarlet Macaw and I think he stands out beautifully against the paler flowers and paper. Perfectly coloured too by the way.
