Glimmer Cards

About a year ago I purchased a Spellbinder's Glimmer System.  I must have purchased this card set at the same time.  I really don't remember.  Anyways, I finally decided to make the cards.  I like the way the glimmer cards look, but boy, what a royal pain to make them. On the last two cards, every single leaf and flower needs to be glimmered and cut at a separate time because there is only two leaf sizes and three flower sizes so the dies need to be used repeatedly, then cut out with one die for each shape.  It took me two days just to glimmer and cut the flowers and leaves.  Geez!!!  This system would definitely not be useful for bulk Christmas cards.  The gold backgrounds were also done with the Glimmer System.

  3. These are gorgeous! My glimmer arrived a couple weeks ago and I haven't had a chance to actually make anything. I glimmered a bunch of sentiments and die cut them, and that's it. I really need to make time to play! I love your cards!

  5. I am sorry it was such a pain to make, but the cards are beautiful. I just do the old fashioned foiling, when I do it.
