First Xmas Card for 2016

I am trying to slowly get back into card making. Here's hoping 2016 is nothing like 2015 was! I used this cute freebie from Power Poppy. I really need to get back in the swing of coloring...practice, practice!

For this week's challenge I used this cute sentiment, Under the Weather and image, Rainy Day Duck from Eureka. The papers are from my stash and I colored the image with Copics.

Birthday Card for Erin

I made this card for our Office Manager's birthday. Our gift is a bunch of Starbucks cards. She loves Starbucks. So I decided to do a cup themed card to go with the gift cards. The tea cup digi was a freebie at Beyond the Fringe Crafts. I chose five different digital prints from Carina Gardner and made them smaller. Then I printed the card images over them. I also printed two sets of plain white cups. One I used as a base and the other I cut out the white portion of the cups to paper piece. I used the a full size Carina Gardner print for the background paper. This was actually quite a bit of fun!

It took me two days and nearly throwing the Silhouette out the window before I finished this. I do feel like it was worth the effort. She is "dang cute." I colored her with Copic markers. A Baby Boy!

It feels so good to make a card again! I had my surgery this past Tuesday and am starting to feel back to normal. I start radiation in a couple weeks so we'll see how that goes. I've heard it's not too bad. I made this card intending to use it for a challenge that has Stitchy Bear as a sponsor. When I went to look up the link I found out Stitchy Bear no longer sells this image. It figures! I still love it, though. There was not very much to color on this image so it was a good card to start back with. The paper is from Doodle Pantry.

Rick St. Dennis Progressive Challenge May 2015

This is my EDT card for the Sparkle and Glitter May Progressive Challenge. I used the image Q of H 2015.. I really love this image. I colored it twice. The first time I did it I loved how it turned out. Then I tried to get a little fancy with some Liquid Pearls. That was not a good idea. I totally messed it up so there are none on this version. Don't you just hate it when you're 95% done with something and mess it up!

I used my Silhouette to cut the flower. I purchased just about all of their 3D flowers, but this is the first time I'm using one. The paper is from Stampin' Up. The silk ribbon is from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and the lace is from JoAnn's. The image is colored with Copics.
