Final Easter Card for 2019

This should be my final Easter card this year.  I had forgotten that I colored the image.  I figured I should finish it up when I happened to come across it.  It's kind of funny.  I don't really care for purple.  All four Easter cards I made are purple.  Maybe, I'm actually a closet purple person.  This image is from Power Poppy.  I colored it with Copic markers.  I used Spellbinder's dies to cut the edge.  Other than adding pearls, that's about it.  Easy card!

This past week I got my Arteza watercolor pens...after the post office misplaced them for a few days.  I was so excited to give them a try.  My first attempt ,actually, my first three attempts were disastrous.  I think I was not meant to be painting.  I'm not giving up, but there is going to be quite a learning cure to get around. It reminded me of a kindergarten student painting!

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafty Friends Challenge - Use Spring Colors

  3. Hi Diane, sorry I am so late on visiting your blog! I had some crazy days and I missed out on my morning visits.
Your card is beautiful, I love the purple. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with with your new pens. They are beautiful colors and that in itself is inspiring.
    Hugs Monica
