Which Way to the Candy ?

This is my first post for Tammy's Scrappin' Corner.  This week's challenge (#34) is Anything Goes/Any Artist.  I am so excited to be working on cards again.  We're still working on my husband's health issues, but at least we found out he doesn't have stomach cancer.  We're still not quite sure what his problem is, but he's definitely improving.  Our grand baby is now two months old and my daughter and he are healthy and doing well.  He's a cutie!  My other daughter, who had a difficult time transitioning to a new job and moving away from home, is doing well and has settled in.  I can finally get back to business. Now I get to enjoy the occasional babysitting!

This image is "Trick or Treat" by OKR Stampede.  Isn't he just adorable.  My fist idea was to color the bandages gray and the bear brown, but I felt like changing it up a bit so I reversed the plan.  I think that's going to be a new goal, to do what I normally wouldn't do.  Experiment!

The digital papers are from Bearly Mine Designs.  The buttons are from JoAnn's.

I, of course, colored him with Copics.

Birthday Card for Joyce

This is a birthday card I made for the new principal at our elementary school.  She is an absolutely wonderful woman. We are lucky to have her.

The paper is from my stash.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  This is the first card I have made in a very long time.  I was just accepted on another design team so I will have a card ready to post on Monday morning.  I'm so excited to have DT work again!

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

I finally found some time to finish a card that I had started weeks ago.  It's been so long since I worked on one.  This image is from Saturated Canary.  I had found the lace at JoAnn's and really wanted to use it for a wedding card.  I thought this image would be ideal.

It's been so long since I colored this image, I have no idea what colors I used.  It wasn't very many, though.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Congrats to Katie and Gabriel!

Crafty Catz Challenge #145 - Anythng Goes

For this card I used this cute image from our sponsor this week, Digi Darla.  The sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps and the digital paper was a freebie I found online.  Thank you to whomever provided it.  I forgot to write down the name.  I had alot of trouble photographing this, which is unusual.  The colors are way off and I don't know why.  I used the same setting and lighting as every other time.  I redid the pics and they were still off-color.  I give up.  This is a quickie post today.  I realized I forgot to make my post and it's the middle of the night !

Totally Papercrafts Challenge #129 - Frame It

I actually got to choose the challenge this week.  It's Frame It.  The idea is to put some type of frame around your image.  I chose this lovely digi from Sugar Nellie.

I finished her quite a while ago and have long since lost my color list.  It figures.

The paper is from Bearly Mine Designs.  The ribbon is from Taylored Expressions.  It is my absolute favorite ribbon so I purchased it in most of the available colors.

Crafty Catz-Challenge #144 - Pink

This is my DT card for Crafty Catz Challenge #144 - Pink.  Lots of pink here!  Our sponsor this week is Crimson Cloud.

I used a Saturated Canary image that was a freebie for a short time.  She is really lovely.  She is now available here.  I used a new doily die from Cheery Lynn Designs.  The card top is edged with a Martha Stewart punch.  I used a digital paper from Bearly Mine.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I tried to make my own flowers for this one.  That ended up being a disaster.  I need to take a day and take my time to learn to use my new flower dies.  Oh, and the ribbon is silk from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  It looks beautiful in person.  The photograph make the ribbon look too dark.    Copics:  B000, B01, C00, C1, E000, E00, E11, E07. R20, R21, R22, YR20, YR24

Totally Papercrafts - Monochromatic Challenge

This week's challenge at Totally Papercrafts is to make a monochromatic card.  I did cheat a little on this one.  There is a small touch of red and the black for the streetlamp.  I was getting really tired of all the brown.  The image is available at the Digi Doodle Shop.  I believe it's called "Feed the Birds."  It so reminds me of Mary Poppins.  I had the song "Tuppence a Bag." in my head the entire time.   As a matter of fact, I just couldn't resist going to You Tube and watching a video of the song.

This week we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.

Totally Papercrafts - Orange & Yellow Challenge

Hi, it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts  The challenge is to use orange and yellow as your main colors.  I must admit, these are not colors I usually use or particularly like, but that's what makes it a challenge.  This week we are sponsored by Whimsy Stamps.

I have had Daisy Butterfly, by Crissy Armstrong, for quite a long time and hadn't used it yet.  I figured it would go well with this color scheme.  It's available at Whimsy Stamps.  The paper is from Stampin' Up.  The pearl swirls are by Zva.. I used Copics to color this image.

My Little Assistant and a Totally Papercrafts Challenge

This is my Design Team entry for Totally Papercrafts Challenge #126, Inspirational Picture.

We have two sponsors this week.  The first is Menjen's.

The second is a new sponsor, MayzyArt.

I decide to work with a MayzyArt Stamps image, Lion Tamer, available here.  I do think I will be visiting her Etsy shop again soon.  I really like what I saw there.  I didn't stick too well to the color of the inspiration image.  I meant to but I gave my lion quite a bit darker coloring.

As you can see, my assistant Ella, is a great help.  Every time she sees the camera come out, she just can't resist getting in the way.  I usually have to watch her pretty closely.  She has been known to steal the embellishments off my completed cards.  And need I say, she's loves to fight me for my ribbon while I'm trying to place it on a card.

The papers I used were from: October Afternoon

Copics:  B21, B23, C00, C0, C1, C2, C3, C5, C7. E00, E11, E21, E23, E30, E33, E34, E35,
