CMS Stempunk Blog Hop

Hi, and welcome to our first ever blog hop. There's wonderful news! Everyone that finishes the blog hop will win a complete set of Steampunk digis. One lucky hopper will win a set of 12 Copic Sketch markers in the new colors..

I colored both pictures with Copic markers. I wanted something a little more colorful than the traditional steampunk look. I kept the same color scheme through both cards. It was easier than putting the markers away and starting over. The embellishments as well at the tickets are from Tim Holtz.

I finally have another card to post. I haven't been around in quite a while. This digi is available at Copic Marker Scrapbooking. Don't you just love this sad little chap. He is from Digi Doodle Shop available here. I colored him with Copics and all the papers are from my stash. Unfortunately, I don't usually keep track of who manufactures the papers. I am pretty pleased with how the inside of this card turned out. I used a new combo of colors I found on Pinterest for the skin. It just doesn't work for me. I'll be switching back.

Happy Easter

I love this image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I got her last Easter, but never used her. I decided to try a different fold. I'm not sure if I did it correctly or not. It's a angled easel card. I colored this with Copics. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The papers are from the Miss Caroline collection by My Mind's Eye. These particular papers are from a Designer Paper Pad called Howdy Doody.

German Shepherd II

This is my final entry for the Digi Doodle Shop Design Team. I will greatly miss this wonderful team. The one consolation is that I will still be able to shop and get their gorgeous images. Keep those animals coming! I have been struggling with my artwork lately and am not really satisfied with how I'm doing. I am planning on taking some classes so I can better learn shading and some other coloring techniques. A natural born artist I am not.

This card was made for a dear friend at work whose sister passed unexpectedly. I made the card with several pages so that lots of people could sign. I made another one recently and that worked out very well. The papers are from my stash. All flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The doily die is from Cheery Lynn Designs. I cut one of the doilies in quarters and used the pieces to decorate the inside pages.

I absolutely love this image from Mo's Digital Pencil. It called "Dream," and is available in both a boy and a girl version. I have had this for quite a while. Last weekend I found this paper by Imaginisce online. I knew they would be perfect together. Today was very stressful so I couldn't wait to get home for some coloring therapy. It really did help.

Rock Star !

I made this card using Lil Sweeties Rock Star By Sherri Baldy, available here. She is just a doll! I colored here with Copics and added some Stickles to the ruffle on the dress and the star. The papers are from My Mind's Eye. The dream ticket and the die used to cut it are from Whimsy Stamps. I have never used this hair combo of colors before. I really like it. I'll be using it again.

Raggedy Ann & Andy

I figured with all the Valentine's challenges out there I should make a Valentine's card. I never send them, though. This adorable image is from Stitchy Bear. It's called the Raggedies. I have always loved Raggedy Ann and Andy. I have made a couple sets. The first set I made before my oldest daughter was born. I still have them sitting on a chair in the guest room. I don't think I'll ever part with them. This card makes me want to sew another set. I colored this with Copics. I didn't save the color numbers. I was working on four cards in a row and didn't put any away. I had to laugh, my daughter came out and looked at my work area and I had about a hundred makers spread out on the table. What a mess! The heart dies are from Cheery Lynn Designs.
