This is one of my favorite cards that I've done so far. I've been in the mood to make a retro looking card. The digi is from Elizabeth Bell. I absolutely love her artwork. The papers are Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl and the ribbons are from various kits I got from Taylored Expressions. I haven't quite decided what to put on the inside yet. I'm sure it will come to me sooner or later.
Touched by Love
This is my first card for Splitcoast's Christmas Card Challenge 2011. I'm planning on making six cards per month. This image is from Whimsy Stamps (Crissy's Digi). I thought this was so sweet; I just had to color it! I'm also entering it in the Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge #1 and Sunday's with Crissy.
Happy New Year 2011
I finally got some time to make a card. I made this for ChemoAngels. I'm really looking forward to things slowing down now that the holidays are over so I can start having some fun. I've really missed having the time to create. I got so many new crafting "toys" for Christmas. I can't wait to try them all out. New Year's Eve was alot of fun. Most of my kids were here and I did alot of cooking. I decided to make pierogies which I hadn't made in years. They came out delicious. Makes me wonder why I don't make them more often. I hope everyone has a very Happy New Year!
Dress Up time
This is an image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I think I'm keeping her in business. I have quite a collection of Mo's digis now and love them all. I thought I needed some sparkle somewhere, but couldn't decide where. The ribbon has some sparkle to it, though
Happy Fall
I made this card for someone special. Couldn't resist this adorable scarecrow. I had to go back and buy the female version of this digi also. It was so much fun coloring this.
I'm late, I'm late!
Love this digi from Mo's Digital Pencil. The clock is from Stampin' Up. Gears are from 7 Gypsies. This was actually alot of fun to do.
I went back this morning and decided to add the old typewriter buttons to the card. I kind of like the extra touch it adds.
Clara
I'm trying to work on my embellishments. I am not happy yet with my placement of items. Hopefully, that skill will come with time. I showed this card to my husband and he asked me what the heck does this have to do with Christmas. I guess the Nutcracker Suite was not big on his list of Christmas viewing. Funny.
For Marcheta
I cased an absolutely beautiful card by "embjorg" on SCS. I changed the color and used larger pearls. this is for a dear friend, Marcheta, a co-worker and fellow card crafter.
Fairy Kiki
I absolutely love this digi. It's from Mo's Digital Pencil. I've had it quite a while, but I just got around to coloring it. I wanted to wait until I had more prima roses to finish it, but alas, I was too impatient. She's colored with Copic markers. I keep forgetting that I want to try prismacolor pencils with them for the shading. Maybe next card!
Welcome Samuel Jaiden!
My nephew and his wife are in the army and stationed in Italy.
They just had their first child, a beautiful baby boy.
I'm so excited for them.
Delightful
This little cutie is from Mo's Digital Pencil. I colored her with Copic markers and added lots of glitter, although, the glitter does not show up very well. The background was cut with a Cricut.
Polar Bears
I found these Stampin' Up stamps at a yard sale. I just love them. I colored them with Copics. The one on the right has a background cut out on the Cricut.
