This card was made for Isabella's Challenge #18 - Chill Out. This week the challenge is "Chill Out" using blues n greens!! I probably should have used a pale green ribbon, but didn't have any. The background paper is a pale green, but doesn't really appear that way in the photo.

Pool Baby
Pretty Pink Flowers
See, Hear and Speak No Evil

I made this card for Sassy's Cheryl's Challenge #19. This was alot of fun to make. I had colored the image a few days ago and I didn't know what I wanted to do with it. This challenge was ideal. I used paper from October Afternoon's Fly A Kite collection. I didn't have any premade flowers on hand so I printed these digis (a freebie from Isabella's)colored them and roughed them up a bit. Thanks for looking!
Honey of A Bear
Christmas Wreath
I am entering this card in Isabella's Challenge #14, Anything goes. I really enjoyed coloring this image. I had decided to make this card fairly undecorated since there were so many colors in the image. I may actually go back and do another. I'd like to try to color the ribbon differently and add some sparkle. I'm still learning. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.
Merging Images
I finally figured it out! It's been a week between trying to uninstall and reinstall Printmaster, then figuring out how to use it. I finally have my first merged image. It's alot of work, but I can see that this will open up some new challenges. I'm looking forward to practicing!
Summer Birthday Fun
Summer Fun

Isabella's Sketchbook Challenge #13 this week is called "Summer Fun." The idea is to create a card that makes you think of summer. Summer for me centers around the Fourth of July and the colors red, white and blue. This picture reminds me of growing up within walking distance of the beach on Staten Island. I spent many summers there swimming in the ocean. Something I wouldn't be willing to do now, but a fond memory, nevertheless.
Honoring Fathers
Pretty Flowers
I did this card for Isabella's Challenge #11. I had to use an Isabella's image and the provided layout. I love the old time feel of this card. I used a kit I purchased from "No Time to Stamp" and an old button from my grandmother's button collection. I absolutely love the kits that No Time to Stamp puts together. I have purchased several and can't wait to put them all to use.
A Day at the Beach
Freedom is not Free
This was done for Isabella's Challenge #9, "Patriotic Colors" and Stamp Simply #141 Flying High and Proud Color Challenge. I felt very strongly about making it a tribute to our fallen soldiers. Technically, this was another difficult one for me. Pencils are very difficut to blend in large areas. Maybe, I should have tried water colors. Hopefully, Santa will bring me some really good markers! Thanks to Isabella's Challenge I won the images for this one.
